Roy and Bonnie Duckworth spent last Thursday and Friday at a church leader conference at Cambridge, Ohio. Their daughter Michelle and Randy McClure and Kiersten and Kaden from Hanover was also there and many friends. On the way home Friday night they met Nadine Swift and Patty Chase at Sunset Grill near Warsaw, Kentucky for supper. Nadine and Patty then visited with Linda Jones as Fairway Inn near Florence, where she was working.
Roy and Bonnie Duckworth went to granddaughter Maggie’s third birthday party on Sunday at Taylor Mill, Kentucky. They also received a long call from daughter Melissa from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
We had a lot of snow. The Florence Church of Christ had services on Sunday morning but it was closed Sunday evening due to the snow.
Judy Lozier is still limping around due to a broken ankle. She has a doctor appointment Thursday (today) and hopes they will tell her she can walk on her foot. Get well prayers for Judy. She also told me that Colleen Lozier is in a nursing home in Harrison, Ohio due to a fall and we all wish Colleen well.
Richard and Leona Adams said everything is well on Turtle Creek Road. Paul James has been visiting them.
Glenda Sullivan, Nadine Swift and Patty Chase went to Louisville last Wednesday for Patty’s doctor appointment. She got a good report. They stropped in LaGrange at Cracker Barrel as usual.
The Florence Flowers Home Economics ladies will have a meeting on Monday evening at 5 p.m. at the Florence Church meeting room.
Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown and Kathleen Bolton visited Margaret Lee Weidmann. Also Kay O’Neal came with a nice big container of delicious vegetable soup.
