Tourism announces new grant cycle

Switzerland County Tourism has announced the availability of first cycle 2015 Community Grants for tourism-related projects implemented by 501C and/or non-profit organizations.

Applications are available at the Switzerland County Visitors Center located at 128 West Main Street in Vevay and will be accepted beginning on January 1st and ending on January 14th, 2015 at 5 p.m. Applications received after January 14th will not be reviewed in the first cycle.

Grant applicants must specify how their event/project will promote tourism and/or overnight stays in Switzerland County. Submissions must include signed Community Grant guidelines and a completed W-9 before any money will be distributed.

A final report will be due after the project is completed.

First quarter Community Grant awardees will be notified on or before February 1st, 2015. Switzerland County Tourism reserves the right to deny grant awards to any event/project that does not benefit county tourism or provide enough information to validate a funding need.
