 The Switzerland County Pacer boys varsity soccer team has set a regular season victory total, notching its 11th win of the year last week.


  On Tuesday, September 25th, the Switzerland County boys beat the Southwestern Rebels 4-0. This was the second game in four days against the Rebels.

  All of Switzerland County’s goals were scored in the first half; as the Pacers out shot the Rebels for the game by a 16-13 count. The Pacers also had more shots on goal, 10-9.

  Goals were scored by Jacob Williams with two; and Levi Curlin and Nathan Furnish with one apiece.  Assists were credited to Ben Hicks with two and one for Aiden Griffith.

  Goalie Aiden Furnish had nine saves for the game.

Shawe Memorial

  On Thursday, September 30th, the Pacers lost to the Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers by a final score of 0-3.

  The Hilltoppers led 0-2 at the half and scored another goal in the second half.

  The Pacers out shot the Hilltoppers 16-11.  The Pacers also had more shots on goal., 12-9.

  Goalie Aiden Furnish had six saves for the game.

  Switzerland County is now 11-4-1 with a conference record of 8-3-1.
