The Switzerland County High School football team will host Clarksville High School tomorrow (Friday) night for a scrimmage that officially opens the season.
The scrimmage gets underway at 7 p.m., and Pacer athletic director Mark Boggs says that there are several ways for fans to pay their admission.
Fans coming to the game can:
• Pay a $3 admission charge; or
• Donate a case of bottled water; or
• Donate two boxes of granola bars.
The regular season on Friday, August 17th, when the Pacers travel to Bracken County, Kentucky; and the first home game of the season will be on Friday, August 24th, when Gallatin County, Kentucky comes for a visit.
On Friday, August 31st, the Pacers travel to Carroll County, Kentucky for a game; then stay on the road for a conference battle with Edinburgh on September 7th. A home game with Oldenburg Academy follows on September 14th; then it’s back on the road for a game against Rock Creek Community Academy on September 21st.
Two home games follow that: a contest with South Decatur on September 28th followed by a game with North Decatur on October 5th. The regular season then wraps up on October 12th with an away game at Milan.
Sectional play will begin on Friday, October 19th.
