The Historic Hoosier Theater in Vevay will add a special element to its monthly Movie Night – raising money for a great cause and a great young man.
On Saturday night, November 11th, the movie, “The Blind Side” will be shown at the Hoosier Theatre, and will feature two showings.
The regular showing will begin at 7 p.m.; and then at 9:15 p.m., there will be a second showing, and that will benefit the family of Colton Schirmer, the young man who was injured while playing in the Switzerland County-North Decatur football game on Friday, October 6th. Colton is currently recovering at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.
The theater has announced that 100-percent of concessions proceeds from the 9:15 p.m. showing will go to the Schirmer family to assist with expenses.
Admission to both showings is $3, and advance tickets are available at the Visitors Center; or at the box office the night of the screening, while they last.
“The Blind Side” is a movie that is based on the life of NFL lineman Michael Oher.
