The Switzerland County Lady Pacer varsity girls golf team has been making history all season long — and that streak continued last Saturday, September 16th, with a second place finish in the Madison Sectional.

The team finish earns Coach Natalie Wheeler’s Lady Pacer linksters a spot in this Saturday’s golf Regional, which will be held at The Legends Golf Course in Franklin, Indiana.

Madison won the Sectional with a team score of 384; followed by Switzerland County with 425.

Scottsburg finished third with 430;  followed by Jennings County with 461; Charlestown with 462; Lawrenceburg with 474; and Southwestern with 534.

Other schools participated, but did not have enough players to record a team score.

Switzerland County was led by Alexis Mangold with an 18-hole score of 100 (50-50). She was followed by Payton Stow with a 105 (54-51); Bri Stow with a 109 (57-52); Marilynn Dalrymple with a 111 (56-55); and Makayla Bowling with a 122 (63-59).
