Florence News 07/11/2019

It’s a pretty Monday morning as I write the news. I don’t have much news as no one calls me with their news and I don’t get around very good anymore. Do you think its my age?

Judy, LeAnn and LoriAnn Lozier spent last Tuesday at LoriAnn’s pool and had a good time. Wednesday LoriAnn and Judy visited Nancy Johnson in Kentucky to help her put mulch down.

Rachel Graham from Alaska spent a few days with her parents Ken and Sylvia Byars on Hominy Ridge. She attended church at Florence and went to dinner at Me Viejo’s in Carrollton with the Florence Bunch: Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Ken and Sylvia Byars, Gary, Karen and David Wentworth, Don Smith, Judy Lozier, Nancy Johnson, Patty Chase, Glenda Sullivan and Rachel. All enjoyed the dinner.

Vevay High School classmates of 1957: Donna Raisor, Hazel Wilkerson, Nell Clayton, Joy Dean Lee, Glenda Sullivan, Peggy Furnish and her granddaughter, Kyndall all met at the Crossroads restaurant in Versailles for a nice lunch and get together a couple of weeks ago. They all had a good time.

Glenda Sullivan and Patty Chase had dinner with the Carrollton Red Hat ladies two weeks ago. They were: Pat Perkins, Pat Montgomery, Cookie Louden, Miller Fernando, Sue Westrick, Hazel E. Roy, Martha Givorman and Carolyn Perkins; and everyone enjoyed a meal at Mi Viejo in Carrollton.

Bonnie and Roy Duckworth and Charles and Alberta Pickett enjoyed the Belterra fireworks with Patty Chase in her back yard on Thursday. Friday night they joined Glenda Sullivan and Michelle McClure and Kaden, Kiersten and friend Caege at the old Warsaw ferry landing and enjoyed their fireworks display. It was really nice.

Margaret Lee Wiedmann’s company was: Kay O’Neal, Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown, Kathleen, Diana Brown, Sharon Wilson, Addison Roark and Jason and Terri Messmore.

Happy birthday to Alberta Pickett and Bill McCreary, Tracy Seale and Clayton Seale.
