
Ohio County 4-H Fair Board honored Allen Cutter as its 2018 honorarium on Friday, June 29th.
Cutter has been involved with and supporting the youth program for 45 years beginning in 1972 as a member of the Aberdeen Rowdies 4-H Club. He was a 10 year member with projects including award winning work with woodworking, soil and water, wildlife, photography and dairy along with electricity and forestry,
He was a member of junior leaders and attended the conference in Louisville,Ky. Allen became leader of the Aberdeen Rowdies along with Paul Lohide, Don Bultman and Scott Bowling. He was leader for 16 years.
Allen continues to support the 4-H through working with the Farm Bureau pork chop barbecue while sponsoring trophies, events and purchasing animals at the livestock (including a pig this year).
Fair board member Jeff Price called notifying Allen of the award his (Price’s) most rewarding moment. He was truly humble.
