Wrightsman leading Pacer golf team
The Switzerland County Pacer boys varsity golf team has had a busy week, setting season lows for team scores.
Here’s a wrap up from the past week:
Southwestern Dual
The golf team picked up a win on Monday, April 25th, at Butler Falls in Hanover defeating Southwestern 191-225. Bryce Wrightsman was the Medalist with a 45.
Other individual scores for the Pacers included: Jacob Williams with a 46; Evan Bosaw with a 48; Adrian Armstrong had a 52; and Braydan Allen had a 54.
Madison Invitational
The Pacers finished ninth out of 14 teams on Saturday, April 30th, in the Madison Invitational.
Switzerland County shot a team score of 406 (18-hole rounds). Indianapolis Cathedral won the meet with a team score of 301.
Individual Scores for the Pacers included: Bryce Wrightsman with an 82; Evan Bosaw with a 100; Adrian Armstrong had a 106; Aiden Ferrari finished with a 119; and Sam Schroer had a 128.
Season low score
The team shot its lowest team total of the season at Sunrise in Madison on Monday night, May 2nd.
The Pacers finished with a team score of 186. Madison won the meet, shooting a team score of 154; while Jac-Cen-Del finished third with a team score of 216.
Switzerland County senior Bryce Wrightsman was the medalist of the match, finishing with a round of 38 — his lowest round of the season.
Other individual scores for the Pacers included: Evan Bosaw with a 46; Adrian Armstrong and Jacob Williams each finished with a 51; Aiden Ferrari had a 55; and Jackson White had a 58.
