medalist as Pacer golfers keep winning
The Switzerland County varsity golf team is on a roll as it heads into the meat of its season.
Three-team match
The golf team picked up a win last Thursday night at Belterra in a three-team event.
Switzerland County finished with a team score of 194; followed by Milan with a team score of 211; and Southwestern with a team score of 230.
Individually for the Pacers Bryce Wrightsman shot a round of 43 to earn medalist honors; while Evan Bosaw fired a 46.
Jacob Williams shot a round of 52; Adrian Armstrong finished with a 53; Sam Schroer had a round of 55; and Jackson White finished with a 67.
Four-team event
This past Monday night, the Pacers continued their outstanding play on the course with a victory in a four-way match.
The Pacers finished with a team score of 192 to outdistance second place Milan, who fired a team round of 219.
Shawe Memorial and South Ripley participated, but did not have enough golfers to record a team score.
Bryce Wrightsman was again the medalist for the match, completing his nine-hole round with a score of 41; and Evan Bosaw shot his low round of the season, finishing with a 43.
Adrian Armstrong had a round of 52; Jacob Williams had a 56; Sam Schroer had a 58; Braydan Allen had a 62; and Jackson White finished with a 64.
The Pacer golfers return to the course tonight (Thurday) at Belterra.
