Over two weeks have passed and there is still no word on the whereabouts of Risng Sun resident Craig Whitham.
Family members and friends continue to pray for the 42-year-old to be found safe.
On Friday, March 4 charges were filed in Dearborn County for Whitham the alledged theft from the Aurora Emergency Rescue where he served as treasurer.
Dearborn-Ohio County prosecutors contend Whitham allegedly stole $106,000 from Aurora Emergency Rescue. Charges came after receiving bank rebcords from January 2015 to February 22, 2016.
He was last seen on Monday, February 22 when he was questioned about missing funds.
Whitham reportedly confessed that he stole the money to feed his gambling addiction. He claimed he gambled it all away.
Rising Sun Police still is seeking him as a missing person reported him missing on Wednesday, February 24.
