The volleyball teams from Jefferson-Craig Elementary and Switzerland County Middle School volleyball teams all played against Rising Sun at home Monday night.
– The Jefferson-Craig sixth grade team lost by scores of 25-15 and 25-12.
– The Switzerland County Middle School seventh grade team lost by scores of 25-20 and 25-13.
– The eighth grade team was victorious, winning both sets with scores of 25-8 and 25-6.

The middle school volleyball teams ended their regular season on Tuesday night at home against Madison.
– The seventh grade team played very well against a much tougher and taller Madison team; and Madison went to win the match in two sets by scores of 25-19 and 25-15.
– The eighth grade team was introduced and presented with flowers and balloons before their final game at home. The squad played two very close and competitive sets, with Switzerland County earning the victory by score of 25-21 and 25-22.
The eighth grade team ends its regular season undefeated. This is the second year in a row these girls have been undefeated in the conference.
– The sixth grade team from Jefferson-Craig Elementary will play in a tournament tonight (Thursday) at Southwestern beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Keli Gabbard is the sixth and seventh grade coach. Amanda Alford is the eighth grade coach.
