The Switzerland County junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams played Jac-Cen-Del last Thursday night, splitting the two matches.
The jayvee continued its winning streak with a victory over the Lady Eagles by scores of 24-25, 25-22, 15-4.
Individually for Switzerland County: Ashley Poling had two kills; Jessie Ray had one kill, two set assists, and one dig; Lindsay Scott had one kill, six set assists, and one block assist; Karoline Park had two kills and two solo blocks; Trisha Smith had three kills and two solo blocks and one block assist; Kayla Keith had two kills and two digs; Angela Swanson had one dig; and Katie Hall had a great pass play.
The varsity team lost to Jac-Cen-Del by scores of 16-25, 20-25, 14-25.
Individual statistics included: Christina Ahaus, five kills and five blocks; Jamie Phipps, eight kills, two solo blocks and two block assists; Katie Rayls, four kills, one set assist, one solo block and one block assist; Lindsay Scott, two kills, six set assists, one block assist; and two digs; Jessie Ray, one kill and one dig; Ariel Clark, seven set assists and one dig; Trisha Smith, one block and one dig; Rachel Tressler had four digs; and Rachel Rodgers had four digs.
The team returns to action tonight (Thursday) at home versus Rising Sun.
