The Switzerland County Lady Pacer volleyball team opened its season on Thursday, August 18th, with a loss to Oldenburg Academy.
The Lady Pacers fell in four games by scores of 17-25; 14-25; 25-22; 19-25.
In junior varsity action, Switzerland County lost in two games by scores of 15-25; 16-25.

The junior varsity volleyball team participated in a jayvee tournament at Southwestern on Saturday, and the Lady Pacers split their contests.
In the first match, Switzerland County defeated Shawe by scores of 25-21; 25-16; and then in the second round the Lady Pacers fell to Southwestern by scores of 17-25; 18-25.

On Tuesday night the Lady Pacers fell to South Ripley in varsity action.
Switzerland County lost in four sets by scores of 25-14; 23-25; 4-25; 22-25.
The junior varsity team also lost to the Lady Raiders, going three sets before falling by scores of 25-19; 22-25; and 2-15.
