The varsity volleyball Sectional will be held beginning on Tuesday, October 19th, at South Ripley High School, and the Switzerland County Lady Pacers will open play.
Coach Steven Konkle’s Lady Pacers will play Milan at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the opening match of the tournament and the only match on Tuesday.
The second session will be played on Thursday, October 21st, and will feature South Ripley versus North Decatur in the opening match at 6 p.m.; followed by Lawrenceburg and Hauser beginning at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The third session will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, and will feature the Switzerland County-Milan winner taking on Southwestern at 11 a.m.; followed by the South Ripley-North Decatur winner playing the Lawrenceburg-Hauser winner at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The two winners from Saturday’s afternoon matches will then meet for the Sectional crown later on Saturday, with the title tilt set for 6 p.m.
Tickets are $5 per session; or a season pass for all four sessions may be purchased for $8. Tickets are available at the door.
The winner of the Sectional will then host the Regional match, which will be played on Tuesday, October 26th at 7 p.m.
