The Vevay Town Police Department has announced that it has made a total of 15 arrests on drug-related charges.
The arrests and charges are a result of the department’s ongoing investigation in the community. So far, eight adults and seven juveniles have had charges filed against them.
According to town marshal Brian Morton, officers served four search warrants at residences in Vevay. Vevay officers were assisted in the execution of the warrants by officers with the Indiana State Police.
“Our officers have been gathering information for some time, and continue to do so,” Town Marshal Morton said. “The illegal sale and use of prescription drugs is a problem that we’re continually working on; and we appreciate any information that the public provides us with.”
Anyone having any information concerning the ongoing investigation is urged to contact the Vevay Police Department at 427-3737.
