Vevay Main Street will host a public meeting this Tuesday, November 27th. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., and will be held at the organization’s office, 105 West Pike (across from Swiss Alps).

The board of directors changed the public meeting format to quarterly evening meetings in order to be more convenient to the schedules of business owner and residents of Vevay who are interested in the revitalization of the historic downtown.

During the meeting, President Dick Yanikoski will walk through Vevay Main Street’s goals for the upcoming year, including the annual benefit fundraiser, “A Flair for Wine”. Anita Danner will present the monthly themes for ‘First Friday’ events in 2013. Program Manager Michele Thompson will highlight the achievements of the Façade Improvement Program (FIP) from its inception in 2006. Attendees will be encouraged to offer suggestions and comments.

Plan to attend Vevay Main Street’s quarterly meeting and take a peek at their new office. Register for a free raffle of a pair of tickets to the 2013 Flair for Wine (worth $120).
