Street gets grant
Vevay Main Street has been informed that it has received a $5,000 grant from the Indiana Arts Commission.
Through the ‘FY21 Arts Project Support’ grant, the grant here is made possible through the Regional Arts Program System.
The grant runs from July 1st, 2020 through June 30th, 2021, and will be used by Vevay Main Street for beautification and social gatherings in the Historic Business District of Vevay.
In a statement by the Indiana Arts Commission:
“Your grant was made possible by appropriated funds from the Indiana State Legislature, in conjunction with federally appropriated funds from the National Endowment for the Arts. The State of Indiana, through the IAC, is committed to a fair and equitable distribution of these public monies. Your organization’s application was adjudicated by an independent volunteer panel and approved by the Board of Commissioners of the IAC.”
