Vevay Main Street, Inc. is now accepting applications for this year’s final round of Façade Improvement and Signage Program (FISP) grants.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday September 3rd, 2013.
The façade and signage grant program leverages public and private investments to stimulate preservation of historic architecture and economic vitality within the officially designated Vevay Main Street district. FISP uses proceeds from Vevay Main Street’s annual “Flair for Wine” fundraiser to provide matching grants to building owners and business owners who propose eligible projects.
Eligible applicants may apply for only one type of grant in a given application cycle. The grant program has two components.
– Vevay Main Street, Inc. may reimburse eligible applicants for up to 50-percent of approved facade improvement costs up to a grant maximum of $2,500.
– Vevay Main Street, Inc. may reimburse eligible applicants for up to 50-percent of approved signage costs up to grant maximum of $500.
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, September 3rd at 3 p.m. The next grant cycle will not be available until March of 2014.
