Two more Saturdays for County rabies clinics

25

The Switzerland County Health Department has announced that its annual Rabies Clinics are underway and will continue for the following two Saturdays.

Rabies and other vaccinations are being offered at various clinics throughout the county. Other pet medications will also be available. Animal diseases and animal bites (domestic and wild) have been on the rise, and owners are urged to take advantage of these clinics.

By Indiana law, all dogs, cats, and ferrets must be vaccinated yearly for rabies. Owners can be cited for failure to comply with this law.
