Vevay Main Street wants to Give Back and “Give Thanks” to the Switzerland County community and out of town guests this Holiday Season by sponsoring a “Gobble Gobble Turkey-Give-Away” for its ‘First Friday’ event, which is being held tomorrow (Friday, November 6th).
Anyone who makes a purchase in any business located in the Vevay Main Street district that has a window display of the “Gobble Gobble Turkey-Give-Away” sign during the contest period will have the chance to win.
The contest period is running now until 10 a.m. today (Thursday, November 5th). With each purchase, the person will receive an entry form for the contest, or may use the register receipt. Contestants need to write their name and phone number on the entry form and drop it into the “Gobble Gobble Turkey-Give-Away” box at the store.
Those entered will have the chance to win one of 35, 10-15 pound turkeys, which will be given away by random drawing during the ‘First Friday’ event on Friday, November 6th.
The drawing will take place tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. at the Switzerland County Welcome Center located at 128 West Main Street in Vevay. You must be present to win.
Winners will receive a certificate for a turkey, which can be redeemed at the Vevay IGA no later than Sunday, December 6th, 2015.
