The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its “Players of the Week” and “Top Performers” for the week of January 15th-20th; and three members of the Switzerland County Pacer boys basketball team were included.
Pacers Travis Webster, Cliff Meyer, and Kyle Green all earned “Top Performer” honors.
Travis Webster earned the award by scoring 27 points, grabbing nine rebounds, dishing out nine assists, and accounting for 10 steals over a two game stretch.
Cliff Meyer was honored for shooting 11-for-16 from the field and scoring 23 points while getting 12 rebounds over two games.
Kyle Green was honored for scoring 11 points, getting eight rebounds and handing out four assists versus Rising Sun.
Others named as “Top Performers” included: Matt Gehl of Jac-Cen-Del; Michael Fear and Erik Demaree of South Ripley; Zeph Vaughn and Myles Hornsby of Rising Sun; Brice Gray, Jacob McVey, and Cody Stephens of Southwestern; Jeremy Hunt, Bryant Withers, and Brandon Withers of Milan; and Alex Murphy, Todd Ungru, and Jacob Bump of Madison Shawe.
Blake Sutton of Jac-Cen-Del was honored as the “Player of the Week.”

The conference has also released updated individual statistical leaders:
Pacer Travis Webster ranks third in the conference in scoring with an average of 15.7 points per game; is second in freethrow percentage at .850; is 10th in rebounding with an average of 5.0; is tied for sixth in assists with 42; and is second in the number of three-pointers made with 28.
Kyle Green is eighth in the conference in scoring with an average of 11.9 per game; and is ninth in the ORVC in rebounding with an average of 5.2 per game.
Jordan Hinman is second in the conference in field goal percentage at .570; while teammate Cliff Meyer is 10th in field goal percentage at .490.
T.J. Sefton is third in the league in assists with 54; while Mark Sharp is in fourth place in assists with 45.

There were no members of the Switzerland County Lady Pacer team honored by the conference this week.
“Top Performers” for this week included: Alyssa Hall and Ebony Inskeep of Madison Shawe; Kady Alloway and Jess Wessler of Milan; Abby Lauber and Erika Simon of Jac-Cen-Del; Jesse Oliver, Kendall Withered, and Sarah Roth of Southwestern; Kayla Ferriera of Rising Sun; and Ashley Thomas of South Ripley.
Kiersten Young of Jac-Cen-Del was named the “Player of the Week”.

Ashley Bright ranks fourth in the conference in scoring with an average of 14.7 points per game; is seventh in the ORVC in assists with 45; and she leads the conference in the number of three-pointers made with 34 and in freethrow percentage with an average of .862.
Tanya Sefton ranks seventh in freethrow percentage with an average of .733; April Thieman ranks ninth in freethrow percentage with an average of .656; and Amber Smith is tied for seventh in the conference in the number of three-pointers made with 16.
