Things getting back to normal at high school

Yesterday (Wednesday) brought more students back to Switzerland County High School, as officials continued to take steps to ensure the safety of the students.

High school principal Candis Haskell said that there were 50 students absent on Wednesday; down from about 90 on Tuesday and 160 on Monday. She said that Wednesday’s figure is only about 10-15 above a normal school day at the high school.

Hallways are continuing to be monitored by extra staff for everyone’s peace of mind, and students are having a normal school day, moving from class to class; having lunch; and extra curricular activities and practices are continuing after school.
