Carol and I attended Brad Cox’s graduation party. Carol and I had a good visit with Norman Romans and his wife. I also visited with Bob Hayes. Congratulations Brad. We wish you nothing but the best.

Harry Brown attended his high school alumni at Bright, Indiana. Harry graduated from Bright High School. There were 12 in his class and only two left. Harry was a graduate in 1943.
Kay Smith is not well at this writing and is in Norton’s Hospital in Louisville. Kay hopes to get out in a few days. Kay, get well soon.
Bill Chipman was a part of the Color Guard at the funeral for Jeff Cosby. Bill got a good report and is feeling a lot better. Thank you for your service, Bill.
Westport Church Camp held a grand opening for the new inground pool that was recently installed, a great addition for the camp.
Mary Jo Meyer went to Columbus, Ohio, to attend the graduation of her grandson Simon, her daughter Patti’s son. It was a high school graduation. Mary Jo told of all of them eating out at a restaurant and a man came over and handed them a gift card. A random act of kindness, there are many caring people in this world.
Carol and I went to Cincinnati VA to visit Earl and Carol. Carol brought him out into the sunshine and we sat under a shelter and had a good visit. Earl is not well and is in need of prayers.
At Fredonia Baptist Church today we met a lady by the name of Lily Zuniga. She and her husband live on Popcorn Ridge. Lily gave me a little news. She and her husband held a birthday party for her father-in-law Henry Schmidt at their home. He was 92 years old. We hope you come back to our church. You are always welcome.

Ethan, Jack and Ed attended a belated birthday party for Luke James. They all went to the bowling alley in Vevay. Ed said the boys had a good time and thanks to Leona and Richard Adams.
Donnie and Brenda Rayles were recent visitors of Tommy and Ann May. Brenda said they had a good visit.
Carol and I went to Ethan and Jack’s baseball game at Markland Park. We got to visit with Dave Johns.
Steve Bladen, Carol and I are glad to know you are home. We hope you are doing okay.

Carol visited Doris Chase this evening. It is birthday time for Doris. She was treated to dinner at The Pines by her kids and grandkids today. Debbie and Bud Vann were there with their grandson Peyton cleaning out her roses. Connie Jo and Paul David, and Laura and Jonathon also stopped by to wish her happy birthday and I think she had a good day.
