Well winter is here. The snow was a flying. Carol was outside taking pictures. When she came in she said it was beautiful out there. I said I know it is if you were an Eskimo. So you know what I think of the snow and cold weather.
Ed enjoyed breakfast with Ethan at his school. He said he had the best pancake on a stick he ever had.
Shirley Davis is a new grandma again. Bailee was born December 20th. Congratulations Mom and Grandma Shirley.
Carol, Ed, Ethan, and Jack went to the Switzerland County Pacers basketball game. The boys won and Ethan and Jack had a great evening.
Carol and I got to visit with Tim and Julie Darbro and grandson Brice while we were eating lunch at McDonald’s.
Surprise visitors at Fredonia Church were Betty and Dale Drew. We had a good visit before and after church. Betty and Dale, don’t forget to come again. We hope you enjoyed the service.
Sunday evening Jeri and Jack McMath and their family stopped by the house and sang Christmas carols for us. Also, two of their granddaughters read a Christmas story for the boys. The McMath family also surprised Tommy and Ann May and Harry and Barb Brown. Thanks.
Jeri and Jack McMath’s families left Christmas Eve to spend Christmas in their homes.
Ethan has wanted lights on his house so Carol and I put up some around their porch. He was happy and surprised.
Carol and I enjoyed a Christmas Eve morning breakfast with Kathy and Wayne Hunt and family. We got to see Maralee McClellan. She is doing well. In the afternoon we visited Carol’s stepmom in Latonia, Kentucky. She wasn’t feeling great but enjoyed our time anyway. Get well, Phyllis.
Fredonia Baptist Church held a Christmas Eve program Monday evening. There was a play put on by the members and children. Ethan and Jack were the shepherds. They did so good, all of them did. The choir also sang throughout the play. Julie Leap was the choir director and Tammy Johns was the narrator. There was a good crowd in attendance. After the program refreshments were served.
Brenda and Jeana Rayles spent an afternoon with Bobbie Jo (Rayles) Klein and family for a Christmas get together. Buster and Joy Gregory of Rising Sun also were there. Donnie had to work.
Carol and I went to visit Mary Jo Meyer while she was in the hospital. Mary Jo is home now. Hope you are doing better.
Carol, Ethan and Jack went sleigh riding. Grandma said she was getting too old to sleigh ride. Jack is not feeling well at this writing. Get well fast, Jack.
American Legion Post 59 had a welcome home party for Kyle Gregory. It was well attended by family and frienes. Welcome home, Kyle.
Judy, LeeAnn and LoriAnn Lozier spent a few days in Savannah, Georgia and Florida. From the pictures it looks like you all had a great trip.
Chris and Rachel Miller came home for a few days, spending time with family and friends. Welcome home.
Carol went to the visitations for Gladys Bond and Geroge M. Miller. Sympathy to the families.
Ed, Mandy, Ethan and Jack came to Nana and Papa’s house Christmas afternoon. The boys had a great Christmas and we enjoyed watching them open their presents.
Betty and Dale Drew spent Christmas with Betty’s daughter Kathy and family.

Ed and Mandy took little Jack to the docor today. He has been very sick. Ed is sick too. But Ethan is going strong, thank goodness. He stayed with us today while they took Jack to the doctor. Carol and Ethan played in the snow.
Carol and Dick Schroeder came to visit a few days before Christmas. It was great to be with them. It is always a good time when we are with them.
