The Switzerland County School Board will be holding a special meeting this Monday night, August 31st, for the purpose of ratifying a new master contract with the Teachers Association.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., and will be held at the Administration Building on West Main Street. The meeting is open to the public.
Along with discussion and a vote on the master contract, the school board is also expected to cover some personnel issues, including a resignation; an employment recommendation; and a request for an extension of leave by an employee.
Also in some old business, the school board will hear information on updated textbooks; and in new business it will approve ECA fundraisers.
