Soccer team kicks into high gear with win

The Switzerland County boys varsity soccer team played an outstanding game against Jac-Cen-Del last Wednesday night.

The Eagles went up 1-0 in the first half, but the Pacers tie the game up at 1-1 in the second half with a goal by Ian Sisson on an assist by Devon Armstrong.

The score stayed 1-1 until the end of regulation, and the game then went into a shoot out.

The first five Pacer shooters scored four out of a possible five goals – but so did the Eagles.

The second five started and the Eagles scored their first goal, and claimed the tight victory when the Switzerland County attempt missed the mark.
