Switzerland County students in grades 3-12 will have the opportunity to use a Dell 11 Chromebook with a carrying case.

Rollout will be held in the Switzerland County High School cafeteria Tuesday, August 2nd and Thursday, August 4th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and on Wednesday, August 3rd and Friday, August 5th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beginning in 2015-16, students in fifth and ninth grades were given an opportunity to own their assigned Chromebook after four years of use. This continues each year for fifth and ninth grade students. This means each graduating senior will own their Chromebook.

Families will pay a $25 per year technology fee for each student in grades three through 12. Cash, check or credit cards are accepted. There will be regular maintenance/application updates on the device. Students must have paid each year’s tech fee to be eligible to take ownership upon graduating.

Parents/Guardians must complete the 2016-17 Skyward online registration for each student and pay tech fee before receiving a Chromebook. Skyward registration can be completed between now and August 9th via https://goo.gl/o6wnBS.
