The Switzerland County School Board has announced that it will interview candidates for the vacant position on the board representing Posey Township.
The school board will hold those interviews tonight (Thursday), and the interviews will be held at the Administration Building on West Main Street.
Beginning at 4 p.m., there will be an executive session which is closed to the public. By Indiana law, the school board must cite the specific code for holding the closed door meeting.
For this meeting, the school board is citing IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(10)(B): “When considering the appointment of a public official, to do the following: Consider applications.”
The public interviews are expected to begin at 4:30 p.m., and those interviews are open to the public.
