The Switzerland County School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting this Monday, November 19th.
An executive session will begin at 4 p.m.; and will be held at the administration offices at 1040 West Main Street, Vevay. The executive session is closed to the public. Indiana law requires that a public entity cite the specific Indiana Code allowing the closed door meeting. For Monday’s meeting, the school board is citing IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b) (9): “To discuss a job performance evaluation of individual employees. This subdivision does not apply to a discussion of the salary, compensation, or benefits of employees during a budget process.”
A public meeting has been scheduled for 5 p.m., also at the administration building. That meeting is open to the public.
Items on the agenda include the football program; approval of grants; extra curricular fundraisers; and the grades that each building was given by the Indiana Department of Education.
There will also be time for public comments, personnel matters; professional leave requests; use of facilities requests; announcements and reports by the superintendent; and board reports and comments.
