Infrastructure work is underway in Rising Sun including Industrial Access Drive, according to city planner Mike Northcutt.
He told city council Thursday that an additional $35,000 in costs have been estimated. However, there is a balance of $59,250 in the Community Grant Fund.
Additional milling costs totaling milling $7500 for other city streets are expected which is within the budget also.
A new round of community matching grants for up to $1 million is underway. Council approved to hire HWC with a $5000 contract as the asset management team for the grant process.
