The Rivertown Classic basketball tournament is underway at South Dearborn High School in Aurora.
The Switzerland County Lady Pacers were to play the Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers last night (Wednesday) in the second game, following the opener which pitted Rising Sun against South Dearborn.
Tonight (Thursday) the boys teams take the court, with Rising Sun and South Dearborn playing in the opening game beginning at 6 p.m.
In the second game, the Pacers will play Lawrenceburg, and that game is expected to tip off at approximately 8 p.m.
Tomorrow (Friday) night, the girls consolation game will be played at 6 p.m., with the two losing teams from Wednesday night squaring off.
That will be followed by the annual cheerleader competition; and the boys consolation game will follow at approximately 8 p.m.
The winners of the cheerleading competition will be announced at halftime of the boys game.
Saturday night is championship night, with the girls title tilt tipping off at 6 p.m.; and the boys championship game will follow at 8 p.m.
Single session tickets will be available at the door for $5; or a ticket for the entire tournament will be available for $10. Individual school season passes will not be honored for the tournament.
