The Switzerland County girls varsity golf team finished second overall in the ORVC Golf Tournament held on Saturday, September 2nd at the Sunrise Golf Course in Madison.
The Lady Pacers finished with a team score of 517, covering four golfers recording 18-hole scores. Southwestern was the team champion with a score of 484; while Milan was third with a score of 583 and Jac-Cen-Del had a score of 648.
Individually, Switzerland County senior Riley King earned the low medalist honors, as she shot a 48 on the front nine and followed that with a 55 on the back to finish with an 18-hole score of 104.
Fellow senior Jody Breeck also earned a spot on the All Conference team, as she fired a 67 on the front but bounced back with a 50 on the back to finish with a score of 117, slotting her in fifth place overall.
Mattea Edwards had a 66 on the front and a 61 on the back for an 18-hole total of 127; while Annabelle Bear had an 87 on the front and an 82 on the back for a score of 169.
The Lady Pacers now ready for the Sectional tournament, which will be held this Saturday, September 16th at Sunrise.
