The Southeastern Indiana REMC Board of Directors has announced that it has selected Bryan Keith Mathews as its new General Manager.
He will assume the position of General Manager upon the retirement of current General Manager Robert Mackey at the end of this year.
Bryan Mathews is currently the Director of Finance and Accounting and has been employed by Southeastern Indiana REMC since 1988. He is a graduate of South Ripley High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marian College.
He earned the Cooperative Financial Professional Certificate (CFPC) through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) and currently serves as President of the Indiana Electric Cooperatives (IEC) HR/Administrative Pro’s Section.
He is a former board member of Southeastern Telephone and the South Ripley School Board.
He is a member of the Versailles Church of Christ, where he serves as Elder, Church Treasurer, and Sunday School Teacher. He and his family make their home in Versailles.
