Next school year the Switzerland County School Corporation will be implementing a four-year-old preschool program at both elementary schools.
To be eligible for the preschool program, you must be four years old on or before August 1st; you must be potty trained; you must have a county issued birth certificate; and – if selected to the preschool program – you must submit your health and shot records.
The school corporation has conducted two preschool registrations so far; and has added two more registration sites throughout the county. This short registration process will consist of your child participating in an academic screening assessment and completing the necessary paper work. If necessary, a speech and hearing screening will be done at a later date.
Dates, times and locations for the two remaining registration sites are as followed:
– Today (Thursday, May 11th), at East Enterprise Fire Department from 4-7 p.m.
– Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 at Brushy Fork Baptist Church near Pleasant from 4-7 p.m.
