The Cincinnati Reds Winter Caravan has announced that it will be stopping in Switzerland County. This will be the third consecutive year that the caravan has made a stop here.
The caravan is expected to make its stop here next Friday, January 28th. The stop will be at the Historic Hoosier Theater in Vevay; and is scheduled for 10:30-11:30 a.m.
According to the Cincinnati Reds website, the Switzerland County stop will be the first stop on the Western leg of the Caravan, and is expected to include: Broadcaster Marty Brennaman, second baseman Brandon Phillips, Minor League Player of the Year Devin Mesoraco, Assistant General Manager Bob Miller; and “Gapper”, one of the Reds’ mascots.
After Vevay, the Western leg of the caravan will travel to Bloomington Friday evening; then to Indianapolis on Saturday morning, January 29th. The caravan will be in Muncie on Saturday night; and then finish up on Sunday, January 30th in Hamilton, Ohio.
Also at each stop, a sales representative will be available to answer ticket questions.
The website also reports that two tickets for the Reds opening day game against the Milwaukee Brewers on March 31st will be raffled off.
