Red Hot Hatters hold second annual ‘Tea for Toni’ benefit

 The Red Hot Hatters held their second annual “Tea for Toni” held at the Schenck Mansion on Sunday, March 31st — and the event far exceeded all expectations.

  Guests — including Carrollton, Kentucky Red River Hatters Pat Perkins and Sue Westrick — came from far and wide and enjoyed delicious food and delightful conversation with friends both old and new.

  Also, in attendance were: Sandy Dawson, Anita Danner, June Wehner, Sondra Stave, Sandy Gold, Melissa Park, Laura Hodges, Laura Williams, Joyce Johnson, Tammy McKay, Peggy Higgins, Carol Furnish, Abby E. Galbreath, Claudia Dawson, Shannon Phipps, Liz Fatade, Becky Johnson, Kay Cook, Ann Farnsley, Rita Vannatter, Eileen Wiesmann, Fiddlin’ Joy Sibcy, Lisa Fisher and Jan Bixler.

  Donations to the Silent Auction from businesses were received from: Wainscott’s Garage, Ladies Bazaar and H and Co. Boutique; and individuals: John Kniola, Martha Bladen, Mary and Tony Christiani, Mika King, Peggy Higgins, Ann Farnsley, Sondra Stave, Shannon Phipps, Joyce Johnson, Sandy Dawson and Kay Cook.

  Antoinette “Toni” Kniola also known as “Lady Laugh-A-Lot” served the Red HOT Hatters as a Queen until the time of her passing August 16th, 2014. Proceeds from this Tea will benefit the Antoinette “Toni” Kniola Red HOT Hatters Memorial Fund with the Community Foundation of Switzerland County Inc., and supports the Arts.
