The Switzerland County Lady Pacer swim team continued to establish school records recently as it participated in the Jeffersonville Invitational.
Overall the Lady Pacers placed sixth in the eight-team event.
– Olivia Hewitt broke the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke by over five seconds, swimming to a time of 1:37.83. She placed seventh overall in the race.
– The girls 400-yard freestyle relay team of Hannah Slover, Olivia Hewitt, Alyssa Yorn, and Lauren Edwards also established a school record with a time of 5:40.03. The team finished eighth overall in the race.
– Lauren Edwards established a personal-best time of 3:11.98 in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing 11th.
– The girls 50-yard freestyle relay team of Hannah Slover, Lauren Edwards, Alyssa Yorn, and Maya Drew finished ninth overall.
– Hannah Slover finished fifth in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:10.34.
– Alyssa Yorn finished 12th in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:25.99.
– The girls 200-yard freestyle relay team of Hannah Slover, Lauren Edwards, Alyssa Yorn, and Maya Drew finished seventh overall in a time of 2:29.54.
– Maya Drew finished 10th overall in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:56.37.
