Pep Club sets ‘Silent Night, Feed the Need’

Tomorrow (Friday) night, the Switzerland County High School Pep Club and boys basketball team would like to invite everyone to attend the annual ‘Silent Night’ game.

The Pacers will be taking on South Ripley in the game, with the junior varsity contest starting at 6 p.m. The varsity game should get underway at approximately 7:30 p.m.

With five minutes left during the varsity warm-up time, the Pep Club asks that the Pacer crowd become silent. Everyone should then remain silent until Switzerland County scores its 10th point of the varsity game.

At that time, The Pep Club wants the crowd to erupt in cheer and sing the first verse of “Silent Night”.

The Pep Club is also encouraging all fans to come dressed in Christmas attire (ugly Christmas sweaters). They are also requesting each person to bring a can food item to the game so the Pep Club can help those who struggle during this holiday season.

At halftime of the varsity game we will also do a sweep for money. The money will be used to help provide food and items for needy families during the holiday season.
