The town of Patriot will again host its popular “Music in the Park” series this summer at the Patriot ballpark shelter off of Third Street.
Here’s a rundown of this summer’s entertainment. All of the shows are from 2-5 p.m.:
– This Sunday, May 22nd, the series kicks off with “Stevie and the Johns” band, playing “a little bit of everything” .
– On Sunday, June 12th, the “Dry Fork” band will be performing country music.
– “Identity Crisis” will be performing classic rock on Sunday, July 10th.
– Sunday, August 14th will see “Southern Sky” performing Kentucky Bluegrass music for the series.
– The series will conclude on Sunday, September 18th, when “Teenage Cadillac” performs rock selections from the 1980s and up.
Concessions will be available at each concert, provided by the Patriot Volunteer Fire Department; and the series is jointly sponsored by the Patriot Town Council and the Patriot/Posey Park Board.
