Sunday, December 2nd, Vern and Mary Ellen Waltz, Dan and Sue Back, Bruce and Jill Hutcherson, Kay Cook, Carol Ann Armstrong, Janett Boling and Janice Meadors enjoyed lunch together at Bryceno’s.

Sunday December 2nd, Carol Ann Armstrong, Janett Boling and Janice Meadors traveled to Carrollton, Kentucky for the annual Christmas program at the Carrollton United Methodist Church. It was a wonderful musical program with many very talented singers and musicians. After the program, refreshments were served in the fellowship hall.

Billie Green, Hazel Huffner, and Dollie Green met in Vevay on Tuesday, November 27th, at the Java Bean Cafe for lunch. They spent the afternoon visiting. Reesea Jackson and Dollie Green went to Indianapolis Sunday evening to the Azbells. Reesea had a doctor’s appointment downtown on Monday afternoon. Monday evening before coming home they went to Drew Azbell’s freshman basketball game. The team lost but played a very good game.

Recipe from Aunt Bea:

Butterscotch Fudge

1 cup (chopped) walnuts

7 ounces marshmallow cream

1-1/2 cups sugar

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1/4 cup butter

1/4 teaspoon salt

12 ounces butterscotch chips

Line 8″ pan with foil. Spread 1/2 cup walnuts in pan. In saucepan, combine marshmallow cream, sugar, butter and salt. Boil, stir 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add chips, stir until melted. Pour in pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup walnuts on top. Chill.

“White Chocolate Fudge”

8 ounces cream cheese

4 cups confectionery sugar

12 ounces white chocolate

1 cup (chopped) pecans

In bowl beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.

In double boiler melt chocolate. Fold into cream cheese mixture with pecans.

Spread in greased 8″ pan. Chill.
