The Town of Patriot will resume its monthly Town Board meetings on Tuesday, June 2nd, at 5 p.m. in accordance with the current recommended guidelines. The Town Hall is located at 352 3rd Street.
The Primary Election for the State of Indiana and Switzerland County has been moved from May 5th to June 2nd. All Hoosier voters have the option to cast a mail-in absentee ballot or vote in person. Voting by absentee ballot is an existing election process. And it is an option for casting your ballot while practicing social distancing and staying healthy and safe during this pandemic.
The Red HOT Hatters are hoping to resume their monthly meetings on Friday, June 19th at 11 a.m. The location has not as yet been determined, but the Shelter House at Ogle Park is one possibility with each person bringing their own meal. Even while maintaining social distancing, we can still visit and converse. The wearing of the colors red and/or purple is preferred. Hats are completely optional.

I love no bake recipes! Here’s one called No Bake Éclair:
No Bake Éclair
1 package (1 lb.) Graham Crackers
2 small (3.4 Oz) French Vanilla instant pudding
3 ½ C. Skim milk
8 oz. Cool whip
3 T. Cocoa
1 ½ C. Powdered Sugar
3 T. Butter (room temperature)
3 T. Warm milk
Directions for Frosting: Mix cocoa, powdered sugar, butter, and warm milk until smooth. Add more powdered sugar if you like the frosting a little thicker. If it’s too thick, just add a little more milk.
For the Éclair: Mix pudding and milk in a bowl. Blend together for about 2 minutes then fold in the cool whip. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray. Place a layer of whole graham crackers on the bottom, then top with 1/2 the pudding.
Cover pudding with another layer of graham crackers, top with remaining pudding and another layer of whole graham crackers, then carefully spread the frosting on the graham crackers. Chill over night or for at least 8 hours.
