The Switzerland County boys varsity basketball team will compete this year in the North American Stainless Boys Basketball Classic over the Christmas holiday break.
The tournament will be played at Carroll County High School.
The Pacers open the tournament on Wednesday, December 21st, with a 3 p.m. game against Trimble County (#1).
The second game that day will feature Gallatin County versus Butler County at approximately 4:45 p.m. (#2); with Villa Madonna taking on Hancock County at approximately 6:30 p.m. (#3) The final game on Wednesday will feature Carroll County versus Silver Grove at approximately 8:15 p.m. (#4)
The losing teams from the first two games will play on Thursday, December 22nd at 3 p.m. (#5); with the losers of the final two games on Wednesday playing on Thursday at approximately 4:45 p.m. (#6)
The winners of the first two Wednesday games will then play at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Thursday (#7); followed by the winners of the second two Wednesday games at approximately 8:15 p.m. (#8).
The losing teams from games #5 and #6 will then play for seventh place on Friday, December 23rd at 3 p.m.; with the winners of games #5 and #6 playing for fifth place at approximately 4:45 p.m.
The losing teams from games #7 and #8 will play for third place at approximately 6:30 p.m. on December 23rd; with the championship game, pitting the winners of games #7 and #8, tipping off at approximately 8:15 p.m.
