The Switzerland County Pacer baseball team split a pair of games from Lawrenceburg over the weekend, losing the first game by a score of 10-0; and then bouncing back with a 10-4 win in game two.

Offensively in the second game, Brandon Otter scored three runs on the day; Ryan Peters added two; and Zach Osowski had two hits and two RBI.

On the mound, Zach Osowski pitched five innings, recording two strikeouts while allowing just three walks and one earned run to pick up the win. Ryan Peters also pitched two innings, picking up a strikeout while allowing two walks and two earned runs.

“It was nice to bounce back and get the split,” Pacer coach Shannon Barger said. “In the first game, we only had three hits. Tyler Johnson and Allen Chase threw decent for the first appearance of the spring, but you cannot make more errors than you have hits and expect to win.”
