Pacers dominate Raiders in meet

The boys track team from Switzerland County Middle School dominated a dual meet against the South Ripley Raiders on Monday night, winning by a team score of 82-18.

The night was highlighted by the establishment of three new school records.

The 400-meter relay team, consisting of Brady Scudder, Robby Karaus, Calen Otter, and Anthony Dasis set a new school record with a winning time of :51.5.

Anthony Dasis established a new school record in the 100-meter dash with a first place time of :12.01.

Brady Scudder shattered the school record in the shot put with a distance of 44’0″.

Other first place performers included: Anthony Dasis in the 110-meter hurdles and the 400-meter dash; Braden Burk in the 1,600-meter run; Brady Scudder in the discus; Calen Otter in the long jump and the high jump; Anthony Dennis in the 800-meter run; Zack Rodgers in the 200-meter dash; and the 1,600-meter relay team of Anthony Dennis, Quinn Meyer, Hunter Jordan, and Tony Hernandez.

Second places were earned by Brady Scudder in the 100-meter dash; David Harbin in the discus; Luke Haskell in the shot put; and Tony Hernandez in the high jump.

Earning third place points were: Robby Karaus in the 110-meter hurdles, the long jump, and the 200-meter dash; Zack Rodgers in the 100-meter dash; Jordan Bledsoe in the 1,600-meter run; Bradley Cox in the discus; Branden Grenat in the shot put; Quinn Meyer in the high jump; Tony Hernandez in the 400-meter dash; and Braden Burk in the 800-meter run.
