The Switzerland County Pacer boys and girls track teams participated in a four-team event on Tuesday night with South Ripley, Jac-Cen-Del, and Shawe.
The Lady Pacers won the girls meet, recording a team score of 98. Jac-Cen-Del finished second with a score of 62; followed by South Ripley with 47 and Shawe with 16.
Ashley Chase won the 100-meter dash in a time of :13.0 and the 200-meter dash in a time of :27.0. Amanda Hon was also a double winner, earning first place honors in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 6:05; and the 3,200-meter run in a time of 13:10.
Brittany Hall won the high jump with a leap of 4’ 10”; Courtney Cole won the shot put with a distance of 29’ 9 1/4”; and the 400-meter relay team of Tanya Sefton, April Thieman, Megan McCarty, and Brittany Hall won their event.
Second places were earned by April Thieman in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash; Hannah Findley in the 800-meter run; Tanya Sefton in the 100-meter hurdles; Courtney Cole in the discus; and the 3,200-meter relay team of Amanda Hon, Hannah Findley, Megan Lohide, and Shana Todd.
Earning third place points were Megan Lohide in the 110-meter hurdles; April Thieman in the long jump; Tanya Sefton in the high jump; and Brenna Green in the discus. Fourth places were earned by Mackenzie Hale in the 100-meter dash; Brittany Hall in the 400-meter dash; Shana Todd in the 800-meter run; Megan Lohide in the 300-meter hurdles; Tanya Sefton in the long jump; and Amber Smith in the discus and the shot put.
Fifth places were earned by Emilee Waldron in the 1,600-meter run; Megan Lohide in the long jump; Brenna Green in the 300-meter hurdles; and Sara Craig in the shot put.

In the boys meet, Switzerland County placed second with a score of 62 points. Jac-Cen-Del won the event with a score of 78; while South Ripley was third with 57 and Shawe had a score of 26.
T.J. Sefton won the long jump at the meet; while B.J. Shelton had a personal best 44’ 11 1/2” to win the shot put.
Second place points were earned by T.J. Sefton in the 100-meter dash; Brandon Otter in the high jump and the long jump; Josh Snow in the 1,600-meter run; Josh Wegman in the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles; and the 400-meter relay team of Brandon Otter, Scott Brady, Nathan Hickman, and T.J. Sefton.
Jim Abbott was third in the 1,600-meter run and the 3,200-meter run; Nathan Hickman was third in the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles; and the 1,600-meter relay team of Josh Wegman, Scott Brady, Jimmy Williams, and Nathan Hickman was also third.
Finishing fourth were Brandon Otter in the 200-meter dash; Rob Lamson in the 3,200-meter run; and T.J. Sefton in the high jump. Josh Snow scored fifth place points in the 400-meter dash and the 800-meter run.
