The Switzerland County Pacer varsity boys soccer team played two games over the weekend.
On Friday night the Pacers traveled to Madison to play Madison Shawe. The Pacers lost by a final score of 2-0.
The Switzerland County coaching staff credited senior Nathan Hickman with playing excellent defense in the game.
The Pacers played Charlestown on Saturday, and the game ended in a tie 1-1.
The Pacer goal was scored by Devon Armstrong with an assist from Ian Sisson.
“The Charlestown game was the best that the team has looked all season,” coach Brandon Roeder said. “Codey Turner played well in the goal. Our defense was stellar.”
The Pacers are in action tonight (Thursday) when they open sectional play at Lawrenceburg against the host Tigers for a 5 p.m. start.
