Pacer soccer team
falls to South Ripley, 3-1
The Switzerland County Pacer boys soccer team lost a heart breaker last Wednesday night to South Ripley by a final score of 3-1.
“The boys continue to struggle with defense,” Coach Brian Grigsby said. “We allowed the Raiders score midway through the first half, but we scored later, ending the half tied 1-1.”
Grigsby said that play in the second half was tough, with South Ripley scoring two more times.
“Although the Pacers had a number of shots on goal, they were unable to find the back of the net,” the coach said. “Again our boys played to the final whistle never giving up hope. This is a team that plays with a lot of heart and passion. Their time will come.”
