Pacer soccer falls to Lawrenceburg, 4-2

The Switzerland County Pacer boys varsity soccer team lost in a very tough match last Thursday against Lawrenceburg by a score of 4-2.

The Tigers opened the scoring within the first two minutes of play; but not to be outdone, the Pacers put a goal in the back of the net off of a set play cross from Kyle Walcott to Caleb McClellan – who finished with a beautiful header.

The Tigers continued to put pressure on the Pacer defense, putting two more in the back of the net before the end of the first half.

The Pacers took the field in the second half determined to keep the Tigers at bay, and they did just that.

Caleb McClellan scored a second goal for the Pacers from a hard angled shot off the right side.

The Tigers finished the game by blasting a direct kick over the Switzerland County wall into the upper corner of the net.

Coach Brian Grigsby said that his team looked much better in the game, and continue to put in the hard work necessary to have success.
