Pacer players are ‘Top Performers’

The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its “Players of the Week” and “Top Performers” for the week of February 12th-17th; and two members of Coach Brian Bowen’s Switzerland County Pacer team – T.J. Sefton and Cliff Meyer – have been honored as “Top Performers”.

T.J. Sefton earned the award by scoring 12 points, handing out three assists, and making two three-point shots versus Jac-Cen-Del.

Cliff Meyer was honored for his 17 points and seven rebounds, and also for shooting 8-for-9 from the floor versus Jac-Cen-Del.

Others named as “Top Performers” included: Blake Sutton, Tucker Brown, and Matt Gehl of Jac-Cen-Del; Todd Ungru and Nick Hall of Madison Shawe; and Tanner Mahoney and Zack Scrogham of Southwestern.

Cody Stephens of Southwestern and Jacob Bump of Madison Shawe were honored as the “Players of the Week.”

The conference has also released updated individual statistical leaders:

Pacer Travis Webster ranks fourth in the conference in scoring with an average of 13.9 points per game; is second in freethrow percentage at .830; is 10th in field goal percentage at .462; is seventh in assists with 57; and is third in the number of three-pointers made with 31.

Kyle Green is eighth in the conference in scoring with an average of 12.1 per game; and is 10th in the ORVC in rebounding with an average of 5.5 per game.

Jordan Hinman is fourth in the conference in field goal percentage at .530; while teammate Cliff Meyer is tied for seventh in rebounding with an average of 5.8 per game.

T.J. Sefton is tied for fifth in the league in assists with 57; is eighth in the number of three-point shots made with 22; and is 10th in freethrow percentage at .690. Mark Sharp is tied for fifth in assists with 62.
